How courageous ... you're considering attending counselling or psychotherapy! I'm impressed.
I remember the first time I entered a therapy office, desperately seeking support for an unexpected crisis. From the moment I entered Michelle's office, the relief I felt was palpable. It was the beginning of a process I describe as "a coming home." Don't get me wrong, psychotherapy can be difficult and there were challenging times, however, I no longer felt alone on my journey. The journey that led me through a midlife career transition to my work as a psychotherapist ... a journey for which I am grateful.
There is no guarantee your experience in therapy will be as life changing as mine ... and I do know change is inevitable and that you can influence how your future unfolds.
My hope - should you choose to walk through my door - is that you will feel compassion, comfort, support, caring, and understood as we walk together on your journey ... be it a short trip ... a trek ... or a grand expedition.
